“I got lucky,” Matt Damon once famously said of his wife, Luciana Barroso, “I fell in love with a civilian.” While many stars have a string of high profile Hollywood romances, others - whether by choice or by chance - opt for a more low-key relationship. 1. Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley
The gorgeous couple first met in 2014 on the set of Suite Française in which Robbie was featured and Ackerley was a third assistant director. They became friends and even shared a London apartment with a couple of friends after shooting ended, until they realized they both wanted more than just friendship.
The Australian actress and British filmmaker currently live in Los Angeles together, and are co-founders of production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
2. Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian
The Breaking Bad star first met his wife, founder of anti-bullying organization, the Kind Campaign, at the Coachella music festival in 2009. A year later they met there again, and this time shared a first on the festival's Ferris wheel.
They were married in 2013 and in February 2018 welcomed their first child, a daughter named Story Annabelle.
3. Lake Bell and Scott Campbell
The actress met her tattoo-artist husband on the set of How to Make It in America in 2011, and were married two years later in New Orleans. Campbell is also the co-founder of luxury marijuana brand, Beboe Cannabis, and both him and Bell are strong believers in the power of pot.
According to the actress, the couple's son and daughter help them grow marijuana in the backyard.
4. Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner
The supermodel and her husband, venture capitalist and brother to Jared Kushner (Donald Trumps' son-in-law and a presidnetial senior advisor), made their first public appearance at a Victoria's Secret after party in 2012.
In 2018 Kloss converted to Judaism, Kushner's religion, and in October 2018 the couple married in upstate New York.
